We had fun presenting FOUND at the Sacramento International Film Festival! We were especially happy to have Kelley Faulkner, one of the lead actors, there as well. Special thanks to Martin Anaya, the director of the festival, for leading a great Q&A and making us feel so welcome!
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the release of FOUND. We appreciate your support! A huge thank-you to the San Francisco Film Commission for generously donating the space, and a very special thanks to Christine Munday, the filming supervisor from the SF Film Commission, who helped host the party!
We’re very excited to finish a first cut of FOUND. This film is just chock full of beautiful moments! Now the tough task of refining the edit begins. And yes, we’re taking the plunge with this one, editing in Final Cut X. So far so good!
We’re bursting with excitement over the amazing footage we got on Saturday and Sunday with our cast and crew! At the beach, we got just the kind of weather we wanted: foggy, mysterious, windswept. We were also stunned by pods of leaping dolphins close to the shoreline. Downtown at the parking garage, we were less thrilled with the ongoing workers’ protest less than a block away. We eventually got the necessary dialogue recorded during a bout of silence, and many kudos to the AWESOME cast and crew who kept up their good spirits despite the frustrating circumstances. All in all, good days to be filmmakers!
We are thrilled to have actors Erik Batoog and Kelley Faulkner as the romantic leads for the next Shadow Angel Films project, a short film called FOUND. We were entertained and impressed with their auditions and had a great rehearsal with them yesterday, so we know you’re going to love watching them too!
FOUND, Kelley Faulkner and Erik Batoog.
