We are filmmakers who love to expect the unexpected: 97% chance of rain all weekend? Defy the odds, and glimpse a gorgeous sunset when you show up to shoot! Freezing cold? A PA can bundle you in a wool blanket! Locked in a city park at 11:30pm? Time to get out your lock-picking kit or call a park ranger! Thanks to the AWESOME Shadow Angel Films cast and crew, we forged ahead to our last location and wrapped principal photography right on time.

ROAD RAGE – Actors
We’re pleased to introduce the fine actors of the next Shadow Angel Films short film, ROAD RAGE! Kimberly Reed as Lauren. Khary Moye as Nate. JT Blythe as George. After a recent rehearsal where they had us laughing with their keen improv skills, we’re more confident than ever that you’re going to love watching them!
ON IT – Composer Meeting
We just finished a session in the studio of Raymond Anthony, the composer for ON IT. We’re so pleased with the progress of the original music score. The music is gonna make this film rock!
ON IT – The Tease
We’re happy to report the ON IT edit is going like gangbusters! In no time at all, we’ll have the picture locked down, sound design completed, and a score with original music by Eric Carpenter. For now, take a sneak peek here!
Editing ON IT
We are deep into the heart of editing ON IT! Drawing closer to a picture lock means that we can focus on sound design and the music. Hard to leave shots on the cutting room floor, but we’re working to make the tightest storyline possible. Happily the acting is so good that it’s fun to watch, even after several viewings! Nice work, Aliza and Tom!
OMAKASE Screening for Support Organization
We had the great pleasure of screening OMAKASE on Saturday afternoon at AgeSong, a retirement community that generously donates their community room to us for auditions and rehearsal space. And, we filmed a scene of OMAKASE on their beautiful rooftop! Thanks to Sushi Frausto at AgeSong for coordinating the event and to the actors, Larry Kitagawa and Suilma Rodriguez for attending a lively QandA session.
